 I love her book series because of all the fun characters and interestimg magical objects. I also love that one of the main themes is that all the parents of the makers hate each other and have corrupted their children as well but if you look closely all the children just want to be friends. it is also funny that the two main characters are the complete opposite, on is brave but the other is a bit of a wimp.  She writes books that anyone can read because she always found it hard to read so she makes it easier for others like her to find the beauty of reading. She bases her books in both the real world and magical universes far away. All of her characters also learn important skills and make brilliant friends throughout their adventures. I love the fact that her stories are all about other people's books and she takes the idea of bringing in other peoples ideas into your work to a whole other level. I really enjoy all of the Ruby redford books because of the main character's humor and all of the other funny characters. They are interesting storylines and while reading the books you can find out lots of fun facts and fun places. Her younger books are brilliant books and children really love them and there morals. I would reccomend the younger books for 1+ and the older for 9+.   In the murder most unladylike I love all of the characters and they are brilliant murder books with a wide range of different cultures and 2 girls who are always falling apart but they always make up again which shows that friendship can do anything, even solve a murder. There are so many books and you can get really hooked in and read to your hearts content. I reccomend this to 8+ children.
