Lauren Child
I really enjoy all of the Ruby redford books because of the main character's humor and all of the other funny characters. They are interesting storylines and while reading the books you can find out lots of fun facts and fun places. Her younger books are brilliant books and children really love them and there morals. I would reccomend the younger books for 1+ and the older for 9+.
