Thomas Taylor

Thomas’s books are full of mystery and adventures as well as the creepy crawly beasts that roam, and they are great for all ages. He has written lots of picture books and stories for younger children and some mystery books for older children with a mind for adventure.

Birth:

22nd May 1973

He was born in Wales. At school he was always told that he was good at drawing so he started drawing all the time to improve and impress people. He went to art school then became an illustrator before turning to writing.

The Three Investigators and the Lord Of The Rings.

Fun Facts

He loved Doctor Who and Star Wars as a child. He lived in France for a bit but now lives by the sea on the South Coast of England.

I started reading this series after I watched the TV series on disney and absolutely loved it. All through reading these books I was always amazed at Trenton Lee Stewart's creativity and how all the characters worked so well together even though they were so different. They are full of intrique and mystery and will have you constantly on the edge of your seat with unusal characters and fun storylines. I love her books because the biggest theme in the story is that even if you are different to the others you can still do what you have always wanted to do. You cant just be sad that people think you are wierd you have to go out and do something to say that you may be different but you are brilliant. I also really love the whole theme of the story and the characters are all so fun. Books written: Skandar and the Unicorn Thief; Skandar and the Phantom Rider. Born: 1992 Annabel Steadman was a trainee slicitor commuting between London and Oxford when she had a vision of a unicorn and 8 years later she has written a brilliant book about it.  I love her book series because of all the fun characters and interestimg magical objects. I also love that one of the main themes is that all the parents of the makers hate each other and have corrupted their children as well but if you look closely all the children just want to be friends. it is also funny that the two main characters are the complete opposite, on is brave but the other is a bit of a wimp.
