I love her books because the biggest theme in the story is that even if you are different to the others you can still do what you have always wanted to do. You cant just be sad that people think you are wierd you have to go out and do something to say that you may be different but you are brilliant. I also really love the whole theme of the story and the characters are all so fun.

Annabel Steadman was a trainee slicitor commuting between London and Oxford when she had a vision of a unicorn and 8 years later she has written a brilliant book about it.

Fun Facts:

She wanted to be an author as a child amd wrote her first book at the age of 13. She developed type 1 diabetes at the age of 4 and had to have a kidney surgery at the age of 9.

I love the way that Jessica Townsend writes her books absolutely packed full of all of her favourite things which gives the books loads of personality and brings the characters to life. When you read her books you can really understand how the characters feel and she writes in such a way that both children and adults can enjoy all of her amazing books.
